The Irish Traditional Music Archive in collaboration with Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy has created a wonderful video of peoples reminiscences and recollections of the Willie week means to them.
Included in the video are memories about John Senior by Paddy Glackin & Cathal Goan. It would be amazing to have a recording of him talking about his mother Eliza (Elizabeth) and also singing the Blackbird.
John Jnr is also interviewed and there is a lovely video of him and his brother James (John Senior’s sons) playing towards the end of the video.
